WEEKEND SCHEDULE

FRIDAY OCTOBER 3

SATURDAY OCTOBER 4

CUTOFF TIMES

The 60K event has a strict 9-hour cutoff. The finish line closes at 5:00 PM (all distances have to be done by 5pm).

To stay on pace:

Please plan your pace accordingly and respect the cutoff to ensure a safe and smooth event for all participants.

SAFETY & WILDLIFE AWARENESS

You’ll be running through remote wilderness, and the risk of injury is real—be prepared to be self-sufficient. While we have medical staff onsite, they can’t be everywhere at once.

Wildlife
This is bear country, and other wildlife may also be present. If we receive reports of significant animal activity before or during the race, we may modify the course for safety. However, wildlife can be unpredictable—stay alert and aware at all times.

Dropped Out? Let Us Know
If you choose to drop out of the race, you must notify the Race Director as soon as possible. This is for your safety and to ensure we don’t initiate an unnecessary search.

AID STATIONS, SUPPORT CREWS & PACERS

Aid Stations
There will be two fully stocked aid stations: one at the halfway point (10K) and another at the start/finish area. You’ll find a great selection of fuel, including items like:

Support Crews
Solo runners are welcome to have support crews meet them at either aid station for encouragement, gear, or snacks.

Pacers
No pacers are allowed on course. Need a pacer? Get them to register and join the fun!

Drop Bags
If you have gear you’d like transported to the far aid station (around 10K out), please have it clearly labeled and ready for pickup at the start line before the race begins.

RACE GEAR

Be Prepared – This Is the Foothills in Late Fall
With the event taking place in the remote Saddle Hills during late fall, weather conditions can change quickly. Come prepared for anything.

Mandatory Gear:

Suggested Gear:
It’s always better to be over-prepared than under-prepared:

Return Shuttle:
Bit off more than you can chew? We’ve got a shuttle available at the far water station (approx. 10K out). Rides are limited and unscheduled. If you decide to drop out, you’ll need to wait for the next available ride—and you might get put to work while you wait. So before you call it quits, remember: it might just be easier to keep running!
